ABOUT THE EVENT

At International Career Fair (ICF), our goal is to help local companies succeed in the continuing rise of globalization. Due to the growing international influence in Los Angeles, we believe hiring diverse talent can help local companies target specific international markets here in Los Angeles, as well as take advantage of overseas spending. ICF is an opportunity to meet potential talented hires with the connections, language and cultural skills to get you access to the growing international market both locally and globally.

FAQs

Who will attend ICF?

We expect to welcome local international talent with experience in Tech, Accounting, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering. We’ve also collaborated with the Chinese Student and Scholars Association at USC, UCLA, and Pepperdine to invite talented international students who will be graduating this spring.

International graduates from US Universities are qualified to work on their extended student visas under the USCIS, Optional Practical Training (OPT) program for up to one year after graduation (up to 3 years for STEM graduates). For more information on the OPT program please check out our website.

Why hire international

talent?

The international market in the US is constantly growing. Los Angeles is hub for international capital investment, travelers, businesses, immigrants, and students. International employees have the language and cultural skills to break into those local markets, and gain access to the emerging markets overseas. For more information, check out our website.

Should I hire an entry level international graduate?

Hiring an international graduate is a no-risk way to test out the local or global international market. OPT students can work for you for at least one year and up to three years if they are a STEM graduate. There is no red tape or visa sponsorship for you. For more information, check out our website.
